Russian actions confirm the strategic value of agriculture

Last week, Russia announced that it was exiting the Black Sea Grain Initiative, a year-old agreement in which Putin’s regime guaranteed the safe passage of ships carrying grain exports from Ukraine via the Black Sea. The Kremlin also indicated that it would no longer honor the humanitarian maritime corridor that was part of the UN-led deal.
